JAZZ band “Spirit of New Orleans” plays at Delph Band Club, Lawton Square, tonight from 8.30pm. Free entry.

DOBCROSS Band Club presents a Christmas “Comedy Cracker” dinner tomorrow to raise funds for the village’s Whit Friday celebrations. The dinner stars Yorkshire comedian Mike Farrell and entertainer Mike Sweeney. Tickets £30, includes four-course dinner. Call Peter Young on 07875661976 for tickets.

SADDLEWORTH Male Voice Choir and Augmented Ladies Choir present their 50th performance of Handel’s “Messiah” with the Pennine Orchestra on Saturday, December 22, from 7pm, at Uppermill Civic Hall.
